On the other hand, aside from Gary Payton Jr. all were first round picks, and sons of solid "rotation players", not HOFs. For some reason, the sons of "super stars" rarely have the same type of success. For example, Michael Jordan's sons both played basketball. They also looked great playing on their "posh" high school teams. When they faced tougher competition they were unable to match up well. Now they have positions with their father's company. Are Lebron's sons "hungry" like the sons of NBA journeymen, or are they trying to be like Mike's sons. I cannot prefict the future so I will leave the speculations up to you.
Lebron "Bronny" James Jr. will be a senior at Sierra Canyon High Scool. He is 6' 3" and very athletic. I have had the opportunity to watch him play because his high school seasons have been streemed on Freevee (owned by Amazon) since 2019. Bronny has played alongside a cast of five star high school players. Two (Brandon Boston Jr & Zaire Williams) are in the NBA now and other former teammates are on D1 teams, or the G-league. Bronny has played very well at times, but he has had to come off of the bench, and his stats are weak.
Bryce James has rarely been talked about because he was the little fat one. Bryce is now 15 years old and a lean 6'6" tall. He will probably be playing ar Sierra Canyon with his brother, this year but his game play has been limited to AAU for the most part. I am certain that his future HOF father has been working with him because Lebron is very "hands on" when it comes to his sons.
The video with this post gives you a taste of each player's skill set or athleticism. Do you have an "objective" opinion about their chances in the NBA? Will either son play with Lebron on the big stage? If so, who? Let me know your thoughts.
